10 Steps of Korean Skin Care
Beautiful skin only thanks to 10 steps?

We have already mentioned in a previous article that one of the secrets of beautiful Korean skin is that they follow their skin care routines on a daily basis. We have decided to show you their regular procedures, which are contained in ten steps.

At a first glance, this routine may seem intimidating, especially because it seems very lengthy. However, not only we can confirm that as soon as you see the first results, you will be happy to sacrifice a few extra minutes to regular skin care. To avoid unnecessary delay, here are the basic steps of Korean skin care:

Removing makeup
The first and most principal step is to rid the skin of all impurities using an oil-based make-up remover, which removes all remnants of makeup as well as water-resistant mascara and, thanks to its composition, does not irritate the skin.

Dirt removal
This step may surprise you, because it is another form of cleaning. However, this time the cleaning is on a different basis than in the previous step. This step uses various cleansing waters, creams, lotions, napkins or foams, the purpose of which is to clean up the "impurities" that may have remained on the skin after the first step of make-up removal. In addition, cleansing with these products will refresh your skin and provide it with the necessary part of hydration.

Deep cleaning
Another important step is peeling, or so-called exfoliation. It perfectly cleans clogged pores and removes all dead skin cells. However, care must be taken not to perform it on a daily basis, as this way it would miss the effect and irritate our skin unnecessarily. It is therefore ideal to implement it in the skin care once or twice a week, depending on your skin type.

Toning water / tonic / toner
The essence of its miracle lies in the fact that it has the perfect ability to hydrate our skin and balance the pH of the skin. All this creates the best preconditions for the other products to be better absorbed into the skin in the next steps.

Ampoules
Skin ampoules are an excellent nutritional supplement for your skin. There are many of them on the market, depending on the type of skin to support hydration, firm skin, soothe irritated sensitive skin, as well as for problems with acne or various rashes.

Essence / Serum
Essences or so-called serums are usually the most "charged" with active substances and are recommended to be applied on a dry skin day under the cream, as well as for evening treatment, when the skin is resting and can thus better absorb all active substances.

Masks
Not only us, but also our skin needs to relax from time to time. In the case, well-known "Korean" non-woven essential masks are a suitable choice. Women in Korea use them very often, 2-7 times a week, even during sleep or travels. This mask is made of non-woven fabric or hydrogel, which is a material that has a positive effect when the active substances are absorbed deep into the skin. The truth is that it is enough to apply any mask, whether non-woven, cream or gel, only 1-2 times a week.

Eye cream
The skin around the eyes is much thinner, softer and more sensitive, so there is no need to explain why it needs special care. Korean eye creams contain a number of active substances such as hyaluronic acid, herbal ingredients, collagen and peptides, thanks to which we achieve firmer skin, reduction of wrinkles and slowed down skin aging.

Cream or emulsion
Cream or emulsion? Both are equally effective, but creams are recommended for drier skin types and emulsions for oily skin or for application during the summer months when the skin is sweating more. The choice of cream or emulsion must be adapted to the type of skin and also to the problem you need to solve. Whether it is very dry skin, poorly nourished skin, recurring rashes or pigmentary irregularities, the cream or emulsion is a must. Regular "ointment" will reward your skin with healthy and beautiful appearance.

Sunscreen
Koreans have always relied on their snow-white skin, but complete avoidance of sunburn and sunshine is impossible. It is for this reason that they make sure to never go out on the street without applying a cream with a high protection factor. It protects the skin not only from harmful UVA and UVB radiation, or the formation of pigment spots, but also from free radicals and a polluted environment. If you use the sunscreen all throughout the year, your skin will thank you by a beautiful appearance not only today, but especially in a few years ...
