Problematic acne skin

Skin prone to inflammation
Many of us think that only acne-prone skin can suffer from inflammatory processes. However, this is not quite the case. We should be aware that inflammation of the skin can manifest itself in various ways and can affect both oily and dry skin. These inflammations can be related to the immune response, hormonal imbalances and, of course, acne. It must be said that hyperpigmentation or depigmentation is also a type of inflammation.

We should not forget about skin diseases caused by parasites, bacteria or viruses. All these circumstances, external or internal, can cause unwanted skin inflammation.

What to do about that?
The most important thing is to determine the cause of such inflammation. If the cause is related to internal processes, it is recommended to consult an expert and start systematically supporting the immune system. If the inflammation is caused by the external environment, regular protection of such inflamed skin is essential.

What can you do? How can you prevent inflammatory processes on the skin?
Take care of your skin regularly. The most important thing is proper CLEANING!
Every day, our skin is exposed to the adverse effects of the external environment, the influence of bacteria, viruses or harmful substances. At the same time, it also participates in the removal of waste products from the body. That is why thorough skin care is extremely important. The most basic thing is daily skin cleansing – not only in the evening but also in the morning. Uncleaned skin cannot regenerate properly, impurities put excessive strain on it and thus it ages faster. The active ingredients from toning waters, face masks, serums and creams cannot pass through the clogged pores, so their application is more or less unnecessary.

For normal and dry skin, we recommend using cleansing water, lotions or creams.
For oily or combination skin, reach for cleansing foams or gels. It is not recommended to use ordinary soap or clean water, as they dry out the skin and thus increase sebum productivity.

It doesn't matter if you have dry or oily skin, if you suffer from inflammatory infiltrates, you should leave aggressive abrasive mechanical peeling from your skin care for a while. If you need to remove the top layer of your skin, reach for enzymatic or chemical peelings, which we recommend to undergo in beauty salons.

As the next cleaning step, introduce toning water into your daily routine. Choose it according to your skin type. For normal and dry skin, choose gel toning waters and for oily or combination skin, choose clear astringent toning waters.
The next steps in skin care that should be included are nourishing ampoules or cleansing masks. They can soothe, strengthen, nourish or thoroughly cleanse the skin. This helps to prevent further inflammation.

NEVER push out, dry out the pimples – but properly "treat" them with antibacterial serum (e. g., Teatree Spot Gel – suitable for all skin types) or an astringent mask to reduce inflammation. Then soothe the skin by applying a serum from the following lines:

Teatree – skin cream is suitable for dry skin type and the serum is suitable for oily skin. Our tip: you can use tea tree oil on dry, inflamed skin, for facial massage, as a mask at night – for both dry and oily skin.
Pitree – skin emulsion is suitable for dry skin type and serum for all skin types.
Muse Vera – skin cream is suitable for dry to dehydrated skin type and serum is recommended for oily and combination skin.
Soak out – cream is designed for all skin types.
Preange – skin emulsion is intended for combination skin, cream with Gotu Kola for normal skin type and cream with azulene for dehydrated skin.

Make note of what you eat! Especially if you have oily skin.
It is extremely important to realize that our skin responds to food in different ways. For skin with a tendency to significant creation of acne, it is recommended to include cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, avocados, melons, apricots or peaches in the diet. It is well-known that foods with a high glycaemic index and also increased consumption of dairy products significantly contribute to the deterioration of the condition of acne prone skin. You can replace these with foods with a medium to low glycaemic index, which release sugar more slowly (legumes, whole grains, some fruits and vegetables).

Don't forget the drinking regime.
Make note of how much water you drink!
There is no life without water and this also applies to our whole organism ...
