Skin detoxification

Our skin reveals much more about us than just our beauty. It is often an indicator of the state of our organism. Unhealthy diet, stress or lack of sleep all affect the appearance of our skin. These factors also help make our skin look tired, grey and age faster. That is why it is appropriate to do so-called deep cleansing of the skin at least twice a year. We should keep in mind that it is necessary to rid our skin of harmful substances and toxins.

However, everything is related to everything else, and therefore it is recommended to detoxify the body both from the inside with a suitable diet as well as from the outside, especially with suitable cosmetics.

Why is detoxification important?
The skin is the largest organ in the body and is exposed to the largest amounts of pollutants and toxins. Various processes such as repair and regeneration are constantly happening in the skin. These processes help the skin get rid of all harmful substances. However, the older the skin, the worse it regenerates and repairs. And that is why it is necessary to wash away all impurities from the body as well as from the skin. It is very important that we take a more radical and responsible approach to skin detoxification.
The goal of any detoxification is to cleanse the body of harmful substances – it is necessary for the body to get rid of toxins, accumulated in the body due to the environment, lifestyle, as well as various synthetic chemicals absorbed by the skin. It is also very important that all the organs in our body function naturally and correctly. This is possible especially if we help our body to get rid of all harmful and unwanted substances.

What helps?
Proper lifestyle, proper drinking regime, healthy diet and plenty of exercise. We should try to avoid stress, smoking, alcohol or other harmful substances, and make sure we get enough sleep. We all know that adhering to all these aspects is a bit of a challenge in today's hectic world. However, let's try to find a moment for ourselves and our skin, and focus on detoxification, which is extremely important. We definitely can do it together.

How does the skin that requires detoxification manifest itself?
Let's learn to read from our faces - it's our map.
If you have acne on your chin - it can mean a hormonal imbalance.
If you have it on your forehead - it may signal a problem with your liver or gallbladder.
It is necessary to adjust the diet, detoxify the skin, or visit a doctor.

So how do you get started?
Detoxification from the inside ...
We mentioned organs such as the gallbladder and liver – they are the centre of detoxification, and their proper functioning also affects the condition of our skin. There are various teas, herbs or other methods that can start the repair and regeneration of these organs, thus beginning the process of our cleansing. In the beginning, you may have an increased feeling of sweating, sebum production, pimples, excessive oiling of the hair – but all the symptoms are fine, and it means that your body is undergoing detoxification. Which vitamins are suitable for detoxification and in which fruits or vegetables can you find them?

Vitamin A – regenerates the tissue, strengthens the skin and smooths out the wrinkles. It is found in carrots, peppers, milk, egg yolks and broccoli
Beta-carotene – gives the skin more beautiful appearance, protects it from the effects of UV radiation, which accelerates skin aging. Beta-carotene is found in all types of yellow and orange fruits, biggest amounts can be found in carrots and dried apricots
Vitamin B2 – gives the skin radiance and fights acne. It is found in milk, nuts, eggs, and soy.
Vitamin C – the most important vitamin in skin regeneration, very suitable for smokers. It is found in sauerkraut, broccoli, citruses, and a large amount is also contained in kiwi
Vitamin D – our body feels the greatest lack of vitamin D specifically after winter. That is why it is important to supplement it in that time. It is an important antioxidant, and it helps to detoxify the skin. To get enough of it, 10 minutes of sunlight in our faces is enough
Vitamin E – a "beauty vitamin" that helps detoxify and rejuvenate the skin. It is found in tomatoes, spinach, cauliflower, or broccoli.

External detoxification ...
You probably already know the 10 steps of skin care, but if you haven't identified with them yet, we'll talk steps that are really important, not only when detoxifying the skin.
Make-up removal – without this, none of us should ever go to bed. Everything "dirty" needs to be removed from the skin. Two-phase make-up removers based on water and oil are very suitable because they beautifully dissolve impurities on our skin. Dirt removal – here we take any cleanser such as foam, gel, cream, milk, or water and remove all dirt from the skin.
Deep cleansing – i.e., skin peeling. During detoxification, it is recommended much more often to increase the productivity of keratin and its subsequent removal, as well as to speed up metabolism and to start regulating sebum properly. Here we recommend peeling for home treatment, e.g., with mung beans, or a visit to a beauty salon, where they can apply AHA acids – chemical peeling.
Skin toning – reach for toning water in the morning and in the evening, because it is an amazing helper in levelling the skin's pH and then preparing for the application of other active ingredients.

As a skin detoxification process – include a visit to the sauna or detox bath in your program.
Make a detox mask, e.g., non-woven avocado, made from green tea, or get an appointment with a cosmetic for an alginate treatment with spirulina or papaya.

We also recommend our series with mung beans. Mung beans themselves have the ability to detoxify and thus flush out pollutants from the body.
Therefore, we must mention that if you first experience any rashes at the beginning of using mung bean products, or if your skin condition deteriorates slightly, that is fine. This begins the process of detoxification. This is how harmful substances gradually get out of the skin.

So, what do you think, are we going to get started?
