The popular beauty trend has largely hit our market as well.

You've probably already heard about face masks. For many of us, they are a natural part of our skin care. Most likely all of us like them, both for their easy application and for the pleasure they bring. We all like a moment of relax with a mask on our face. They represent a pleasant and at the same time very useful diversification of the effort to improve the condition of our skin.

Women in Korea even use them very often, 2-7 times a week, during sleep or travels. That's why face masks have a well-deserved place in the article on 10 steps of skin care.
A face mask is one of the easiest ways to get our skin in shape without any major effort and turn it into healthy and supple. They are easy to apply, fun to use and great for achieving the desired results. They are highly concentrated and focused on regeneration, hydration or improvement the condition of our skin in general. Thanks to them, our skin will feel fresh and well.
Let's not neglect thorough skin cleansing.
You might not have known, but face masks can cleanse the skin beautifully. Certain ingredients and extracts penetrate deep into the pores, removing dead skin cells, dirt and sebum. Don't forget to clean your skin. Even before applying the mask itself, it is necessary that the make-up is properly removed and the skin is cleansed. Only then will you achieve the best results.
Away with imperfections
Face masks can work wonders when it comes to achieving flawless skin. They help remove dirt and bacteria from your skin. Choose a mask that suits your skin type. If you have oily skin, look for kaolin-based face masks. They will help you remove excess sebum and dirt from your skin and shrink pores. Dry skin owners should look for masks that focus on hydration.

Try multimasking
Use your masks to the fullest by combining them. Multimasking is becoming an increasingly popular option for owners of combination or sensitive skin. Multimasking means application of face masks on the face according to individual areas. Not all facial areas are the same and each may require a slightly different type of care. Therefore, try to apply the mask that cares the most for each area specifically. It may be a little harder, but your skin will repay you and you will get the most out of each mask.
Grant your body relax
Let's be honest. We often see skin care as a mandatory job that we sometimes do not feel like doing. Especially when we come home from work in the evening, with housework awaiting us and we are just looking forward to going to bed. Forget laziness. Shut down, unwind and use literally just a few minutes to relax and unwind your body and mind. Many masks even smell like aromatherapy to our senses.
To make it easier for you, we have included a helper with some ingredients that you should look for according to the type and condition of your skin:

Acne: salicylic acid, tea plant or lavender, exfoliating mask with papaya, charcoal or kaolinite.
Skin firming: masks with collagen, vitamin C, coenzyme Q10, gold, snake venom or peptides.
Dry skin: hyaluronic acid, vegetable oils or shea butter, avocado, honey and coconut oil
Soft skin: vitamin C, vitamin E or other antioxidants, Aloe vera, Gotu kola mask, purslane or seaweed
Rosacea: Asian centella
Pigment stains: arbutin, niacinamide, pearl powder or vitamin C.
How often to use them?
Before we dive into how often you should use face masks, let's talk more about how to use them. Always remember to clean your skin before applying the mask for the best results.
Once your skin is clean and ready for your mask, apply it to your face. Usually only a thin layer is needed for the mask to be effective. But how many times a week should we apply them?
Peeling masks
Thanks to their composition, they actively improve the texture of the skin. They are also known for their softening effect, after their application the skin remains fresh and clear. These masks are a suitable addition to care even in case of damaged skin. Soothing peeling mask with tea tree oil – Green Tea Calming Peel Off Mask cleans clogged pores and moderates the symptoms of adverse reactions. We use peeling masks 1-2 times a week.
Non-woven / fabric masks
cloth masks, tatter masks, textile masks: applied soaked non-woven fabric on the skin, relax and then remove.
They were created in Korea and their wide range will find a solution to any skin problem. Non-woven fabric is impregnated with an essence that hydrates, firms, soothes, or whitens the skin or has an anti-inflammatory effect. After its application, the skin is supple, soft and fresh. Good tip for you – we recommend to warm the mask in the package for 1 minute. This will grant you  an amazing warming feeling on the skin, the pores will open and the active substances will be inserted deeper into the skin. On the other hand, for a cold effect, that is suitable for swelled face or in summer time as a refreshment, put the mask into the fridge for a while. Your skin will absolutely reward you. It is the best to use such masks 1-2 times a week.
Kaolinite masks
These masks help to deeply cleanse the skin and remove all impurities as well as excess sebum. They have an antimicrobial effect and they protect the skin from harmful external environment. It is ideal to use these masks at least once a week. Our skin will definitely repay us.
Cream masks – apply them, relax, and then wash with lukewarm water. With hyaluronic acid, kaolinite, vegetable oils or ceramides. They soften and lubricate the skin, removing the unpleasant feeling of dryness and tension. After using them, the skin is soft, clean and hydrated. As a good tip, we recommend using a night nourishing cream, which you apply for the night in a thicker layer and leave it on throughout the night.
Peel-off masks (peeling) – apply them, relax and then peel them off whole starting from the chin and going upwards. They clean the skin, get rid of dead particles and scales and at the same time act whitening, anti-inflammatory or anti-wrinkle according to our choice of the mask. The skin stays clean and smooth with a visible desired result.
Penetration masks (alginate) are an excellent choice and there are several types of them. The masks are packed in powder and they are then prepared with water. They are based on seaweed enriched with other active substances. They are versatile, especially for beauticians, because they can cleverly apply the masks onto any skin type with added essence or serum, because it increases the effect of the active substances contained in the serum and mask. This is because alginate adheres to our skin, creates a warming effect when the active ingredients are inserted deeper into the skin and also the gentle pressure exerted on the skin turns the flexes the skin and reduces wrinkles.
Gel masks – apply them, relax and then wash with lukewarm water. Gel masks are suitable for delicate skin type, which is very thin and does not withstand tension on the surface, or so-called "other weight" of matter. In our offer, we recommend them especially for delicate skin, which is not irritated by them. On the contrary, this mask smooths, strengthens, hydrates the skin, and thus gives it strength. In the beauty salon, they can also apply these gel products with a machine, when such delicate skin is perfused and effective masks are inserted into the depths of the skin, the capillaries are strengthened and the skin becomes firmer.
Mud, bubble / oxygen – apply them, relax and wash with lukewarm water. This type of mask is suitable for very clogged skin that needs cleansing. They are not very suitable for delicate skin, rather we recommend them for rougher and coarser skin with enlarged pores.
Let's not forget that we apply the mask on perfectly clean skin so that the active substances can be absorbed as well as possible into the skin.
Whatever mask you decide on – healthy, fresh, smooth skin and relax during its application – those are the benefits of its regular use.
